Sizing & Fit

Our sizes are divided into two categories: Clothing and Accessories

These categories are distinguished by the role of fit in ensuring optimal comfort.

Difference between fit and body measurements

Before choosing the correct size, it is important to understand the difference between body measurements and fit. Body measurements are taken directly on the skin, without compressing the body with the tape measure.

What is Fit?

Fit indicates how tight or loose a garment is compared to body measurements. For example, if a person's waist circumference is 65 cm, a t-shirt with a loose fit could have a waist circumference of 85 cm (65 cm body measurement + 20 cm fit).

For accessories such as belts, the fit is determined by the series of holes that allow you to adjust the size. The ideal measurement should correspond to the center hole, allowing you to tighten or loosen the belt as needed.

Tightening the belt reduces the fit, making it more adaptable to the body.
Loosening it allows you to wear it over thicker clothing, adding fit.

Fit facts

Fit doesn't always follow a linear logic, especially for accessories, where the movement of the chest during breathing can affect the measurements.

Accessories like belts or corsets with straps offer more flexibility: you can adjust them looser or tighter depending on your preference.

In contrast, our strapless Cone Bra requires light compression to stay in place, especially on smooth fabrics like silk, to prevent it from slipping with the body's movements. For this reason, the bra's fit is designed to be more snug than other accessories.

If this detail is uncomfortable, we can add straps upon request for greater stability.

How to take measurements?

Each product has an associated size chart and an explanatory drawing. Follow the instructions to correctly measure your body and compare the measurements with those in the chart. It is important to consider that each body has different proportions, and clothing tries to fit as many physiques as possible, without being perfect for everyone.
For example, if our dress has a loose fit and your ideal size is M, an S might fit you, but it would not fall as well. Respecting the designed fit is essential to avoid defects in the fit of the garment.

If your measurements seem very different from our charts, contact us! We are happy to offer personalized advice on how to best dress your body.

Is it possible not to find your size?

Yes, it can happen. Creating a size chart is a complex process, and it is not always possible to perfectly fit every body type. For this reason, we offer a made-to-measure service, available where possible.

Size Trivia

  • Standard sizes range from IT 38 to IT 46/48, gradually adapting to increasing body sizes.
  • Plus sizes start from 48/50 and up. In these cases, adapting the same basic size pattern becomes more complicated, and it is often necessary to create a new one from scratch.

Some companies specialize in creating plus size clothing, as they require a different sartorial approach.

Can I exchange an incorrect size?

Our garments are made to order. However, if the size is not correct, you can request a return, respecting the following conditions:

  • The return request must be made within 6 days of receiving the product.
  • The warranty seal must be intact and the packaging must not be damaged.
  • The product must not show signs of wear.
  • The shipping costs for the return are paid by the customer.

After our verification, if the return complies with our policy, you can choose between a replacement or a voucher equivalent to the amount spent.

For the made-to-measure service, it is not possible to request a return.
